Year 6 Leavers Assembly – Proud Moments and Happy Tears

Last Friday we gathered as a whole-school community to celebrate and bid farewell to our wonderful Year 6 pupils as they prepare for the exciting move to secondary school. The Leavers Assembly was, as always, a deeply moving occasion full of laughter, memories and more than a few happy tears.

The children performed songs they had rehearsed for weeks, delivered personal speeches, and received their leavers’ hoodies and memory books. Class teachers shared a memorable moment about each child, leaving many parents reaching for tissues.

Our headteacher told the children: “You have been an outstanding year group – kind, ambitious and always willing to support one another. Secondary school is gaining some truly exceptional young people.”

We wish every one of our Year 6 leavers the very best in everything that lies ahead. You will always be part of our school family.
